Welcome to my stamp and die-cut unboxing series! I’m so excited to share these amazing tools with you from my earlier unboxing post. In each post for this series, I will highlight one of the five stamp and die cut sets or the mini alphabet die cuts. In this series, you will find examples of how to use these different sets. I will include the products I used as well as tutorials and tips.
Today, we’re diving into the Cake Celebrations bundle, the last of our unboxing series. Stamp the glaze and floral decorations on your paper, then die cut using the cake tiers. Make the cake the background to your paper crafts and turn your sentiments into a centerpiece. Or stamp the whole cake on your card and add a banner to the top using the banner die. Whatever your decoration strategy, this bundle will help you make a decadent paper crafting dessert.
Create scrumptious cakes with the Cake Celebrations Stamp Set. Whether you go with a one-tier for a birthday card or dress up a wedding invitation with a two-tiered cake, this stamp set helps you decorate your paper crafts with cakes fit for any celebration. Use the fabulous icing details and decorative flora to detail your cake for an anniversary card. Or turn the celebratory sentiments into the focal point of your crafts. However you use it, this stamp set will help you make a card anyone will love. Use the dies to make a sweet cake the focal point on your cards. Or build an epic multitier cake—complete with a frosting glaze. The banner, cake stand, and floral decorations can help you add that extra special touch for an extra special paper craft.
I will be sharing with you two different cards; one I will be casing a card and the other one I will use a card sketch.
Card One: Casing: Celebrate
A fellow Stampin Up demonstrator created a card using this bundle that inspired my card. I loved the colors that she used, but I triple matted each of the two embossed panels. Even though I have the same embossing folders that she used, I chose to use two different folders that have been discontinued. I really love the Stampin Up Subtle 3D embossing folder and I have used it quite a bit over the years. I chose to use glitter paper for my frosting. I added a heat embossed sentiment that I fussy cut. This card could be used for a birthday, wedding, or anniversary.

Card Two: Card Sketch: Happy Birthday
I have a student whose birthday is coming up and I needed to make her a birthday card. Her favorite color is red. For this card I used the Stampin Up Designer Series Paper Seasons of Elegance. This paper series had a beautiful, double sided, red paper that was perfect for this card. I accented the gold in the paper with gold frosting and wove gold thread around the layers of the cake. The gold and red paper created an elegant birthday card.
